“We’re especially proud of our ground breaking MacGameStore Compatibility Checker, it will tell you instantly if the game can run on your Mac before you even download it.” says Tuncer Deniz. “Customers have been asking for a better way to search for games, so we built a powerful search engine that quickly discovers games the customer may like based on their selection criteria.” added Tuncer Deniz. “One of the distinct advantages of our App is its simplicity” says Tuncer Deniz, Founder and CEO of MacGameStore Inc. In addition, the app allows the option for customers to store their games in the cloud. MacGameStore App utilizes the cloud so games are downloaded extremely quickly. This new app offers a greater insight to games by providing game screenshots, game trailers, community reviews, and game ratings. The MacGameStore App is only available at MacGameStore online. The new app will provide an even better and easier shopping experience to get the latest Mac games. The FTC has brought legal actions against organizations that have violated consumers’ privacy rights, or misled them by failing to maintain security for sensitive consumer information, or caused substantial consumer injury. For those who are not familiar with the company, MacGameStore Inc is an online store for digital downloads of Mac Games and features an extensive library with new titles being added daily. With the saying “two’s a party, three’s a crowd”, the field is about to get a little more crowded with the introduction of MacGameStore Inc’s MacGameStore app. You're wise to ask these questions before buying and/or downloading! From the top of my head, I can name at least two game delivery platforms for the Mac, Apple’s very own Mac App Store (I don’t hang around there much) and Valve’s uber-popular Steam (I hang around there a lot, for games like Counter-Strike: GO, Torchlight, and a whole bunch of indie games that I bought via Humble Bundle that provided Steam keys). try asking them publicly through one of those media. Unfortunately, I can't find any contact info in any obvious places on their site, but they have a Facebook page and Twitter handle. Try posing that question to the company directly (in a non-confrontational way, since there are legit reasons for that sort of thing). Bioshock 2 is actually cheaper in the App Store than through the developer's own web site, or at least it was when I bought it. I bought Civilization 5: Complete from this store and it was for sale at 12.49USD and the steam price was 48USD something. Perhaps the developer increases the price on the App Store to cover Apple's fees? But perhaps not. Let me just advise you and all the people who fall upon this discussion. On the MyWoT page for that site (which is pretty good), there's a comment from one user that claims the site is distributing malware, but the reasons given are crap.Īll that said, keep in mind that old standby: "If it's too good to be true, it probably is." Ask yourself why some of their games are cheaper than the same games on the Mac App Store. There could be any number of inaccurate reasons for a particular individual to call the site a scam. That appears to be a single report posted on that site by an anonymous user, and should not be taken as an official report of any kind. I wouldn't be too quick to assume that the report that shldr2thewheel posted is accurate. Why is this? Is it actually any good? Thanks. I recently discovered a website called that has many games featured on the Mac App Store, but some much cheaper.
